Plain Type
Great for take downs over buildings, driveways, delicate landscapes, fences, or anywhere else a ground man must lower heavy objects. Helps maximize lifespan of ropes by softening abuse and keeping trash of tree’s bark away. Available in two models: a plain type which only lets objects down and a ratchet type which lifts up in addition to letting down. Both are constructed of steel and include 18 ft. of 4” nylon webbing and winch bar. Shipped assembled.

I bought this in the spring of last year thinking it could be handy on certain jobs. After using it a few times the whole crew wondered how we managed without it for so many years. I bought the ratcheting unit and we used it to lift a 20foot broken branch off a service drop, stood the branch straight up then cut the butt off and lowered it down. The only thing I have found that I didn't like about it is there is no release accessible for the drum.

i have been climbing for 17 years,this device turned my roping around,with my pulleys a good rope with this device and a skilled topper jobs move smooth an faster
i was able to make life on the ground easer for my ground guys it also took less people to run ropes,ths is a heavy block but for the price very awsome
